Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator

Reports to: Head of Learning & Events Programming
Responsible for: Volunteers
Hours, Pay and Holiday: 25 hours per week for 45 weeks of the year, at a rate of £7.96 per hour, plus Rolled Up Holiday Pay equivalent to 20 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata.
The American Museum in Britain is seeking an enthusiastic, committed individual to join our Visitors Services team in the role of Volunteer Coordinator.
The American Museum has a dedicated team of over 100 volunteers, who are crucial to the day-to-day life of the Museum.
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, supporting, and maintaining a large team of volunteers. Regular duties include maintaining a four-weekly volunteer rota, communicating information to the volunteer team, organising training and social events, recruiting new volunteers, identifying new ways volunteers can contribute to the Museum, and managing work experience placements.
