Members of Bath Tourism Plus, along with representatives from some of the city’s top attractions, attended an international trade event in the capital to help raise Bath’s profile.
The International Confex exhibition, which is aimed at event organisers, saw Stephanie Hill, marketing manager of the Royal Crescent Hotel, donning full Georgian regalia.
During the week BTP also took a sample of what Bath has to offer to other trade events such as the Best of Britain and Ireland in Birmingham and VisitBritain March Marketplace event at Wembley Stadium.
BTP chief executive Nick Brooks-Sykes, said it was important to increase the profile and awareness of Bath in key overseas markets.
He said: “The Olympics gave Britain’s profile a huge boost but that doesn’t mean we can all sit back and watch visitors flood in.
“This is why BTP is working harder than ever to put Bath in the marketplace and ensure we continue to attract higher spending international and conference business.”
