Strive Dance Project Officer needed

South Gloucestershire Council Cultural Services is seeking a Project Officer to be responsible for the delivery of the Strive Dance Project, which is a 1 year project funded by the Arts Council England (ACE) to provide youth dance opportunities in South Gloucestershire.   

The Project Officer will be responsible for all aspects of the project management and delivery of the Strive Project including but not limited to developing partnerships with participating groups, commissioning dance artists, establishing timetables and project implementation plans, managing site specific performances, budget monitoring, evaluation, preparing Arts Council reports and liaison with Dance South West. The Strive Project is made up of three main strands.

Strive Creep, Discover and Explore, a site specific dance programme for the Summer Reading Challenge with four primary schools and four libraries

Strive Site, a site specific dance programme with three youth dance groups in three areas, plus associated training and networking opportunities.

The Youth Dance Company. 

Salary: £26,276 pro rata

Hours:  18 Hours per week
