It is now two years since we commissioned our detailed Economic Impact Project from the University of Bath and while that data is still useful, given the changes in the economy since then, we need to update our information about the health of the cultural sector in the area.
Data about our members’ activities is crucial in being able make an effective case for continued support.
Major and potentially devastating cuts to council budgets are expected for the next financial year and discussions are already under way as to where they will be fall.
As an organization that lobbies for the best interests of the cultural sector we need your help to keep us informed.
Here Survey 2012 you will find to download as a Word document a VERY short and a VERY simple questionnaire, just 8 questions in all.
Please fill it in and send back to me, Martin Pople, at email@example.com
I urge you to take just 5 minutes at most to complete this – more members do this, the more accurate impression we gain.
The information will not be used, published or shared on an individual basis, rather it will be collated to give an overall picture of the sector.
This information will also be fed back to the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership Board as part of a piece of work on the role of culture within the context of the LEP job creation agenda.
The objective is to gather evidence to inform an investment strategy for the West of England LEP, which will deliver the resources and infrastructure required to make the West of England cultural offer sustainable and internationally stand out.
