    The most unreliable music since 1999

    Such is the boast of the Flat Earth Society, an anarchic, 14 piece crossover jazz big band performing as part of the Bath International Music Festival on 26 May at Komedia.  They bring music from their latest album '13' and a selection of songs from the HearSee programme, presenting film in combination with newly composed music, including a new score for the 1903 film 'Alice in Wonderland'.  More here.

    The Turn Of The Screw

    Bath Phil presents a semi-staged opera of Henry James' novel The Turn of the Screw, a highly atmospheric ghost story set in operatic form by Benjamin Britten. Part of Bath Phil's 100th anniversary celebrations of the birth of Britten, they join forces with a cast of young professionals, director Morag McLaren, Cooper Hall and the Frome Festival.
